I'm Poorer Than A Dog

And you probably are too:-)

Recently, hotel magnate Leona Helmsley left her dog, Trouble, $12 million dollars in a trust fund. The 8-year old Maltese will continue a life of luxury to which it has become accustomed, including chef cooked gourmet meals. When Trouble dies, she will be buried next to Leona in the Helmsley Mausoleum.

To put this in perspective, let's consider Trouble's age to be equivalent to a 56-year old human. At $12 million, Trouble's net worth ranking is in the top 1% of her human age group. While some may find this amusing, it is probably disheartening to scores of silicon valley millionaires who are not satisfied with $1 to 10 million of net worth, "in part, because the are surrounded by people with more wealth..."

Now, many of them will also have to contend with a dog that is wealthier than they are:-)
