I will never forget and still remember where I was and what I was doing. We are expats in Japan during that time. I was up late, on the computer, getting ready to do some stock trades. (For reference, Japan is 14 hours ahead on EST.) Then I saw a news flash that a plane had crashed into the twin towers. I assumed it was a small plane accidental crash. Then, there was a news flash of a second plane. I knew then the crashes were not an accident.
There are memorials to those for those on the flights. There are memorials for those that perished in the World Trade Center. IMHO 9/11 should be made a Federal holiday so that we truly "Never Forget."
